When you come to our office for routine preventive dental care, our team has the opportunity to keep tabs on the health of your teeth. Because we see you regularly, we notice if a new problem arises – wear and tear, decay, or other potential issues. Catching these problems early means we can use a more conservative approach during your treatment. Fillings can be smaller, we can fit you for a nightguard instead of putting a crown on a worn tooth, or we can do a deep cleaning to treat gum disease. Routine dental exams and cleanings mean you ultimately spend less time in the dental chair and less money on your dental work. It’s a win-win!

New Patient Exam
New to McKinley Crossing Dental? Welcome! When you come in for a new patient visit, we like to make the most of your time with us. During your visit, we’ll go over your dental and medical histories, talk with you about your concerns and goals for your smile, perform a thorough exam, take digital X-rays if it’s been a while, and perform a cleaning. It sounds like a lot, but the whole appointment only takes about an hour and a half. And since we do all of this in one visit, you don’t have to take time out of your schedule in a week or a month to come back for dental care.
